Digital Marketing · Baltimore, MD A Baltimore Digital Marketing Agency for Local Businesses

Another Monday is a digital marketing agency in Baltimore, Maryland, and I'm the one who runs it. I build the website, run the search and ad campaigns, and wire up the tracking so you can see what every dollar came back as. You don't need twenty marketing channels. You need two or three that fit your business, done well.

More Calls · More Bookings · Less Guesswork

01

What does a digital marketing agency in Baltimore actually do?

Illustration of a Baltimore small business owner researching digital marketing services and search engine optimization options before choosing an agency

A digital marketing agency runs the online channels that bring a business customers: search engine optimization, paid ads, content, and the website all of it points to. That's the textbook version. What it looks like day to day depends entirely on who you hire, because most agencies sell you every channel they staff, whether or not your customers are on it.

I start with where your customers already look for you, which in Baltimore is almost always Google, and I build your Baltimore digital marketing strategy around the two or three channels that reach them. For one business that's search engine optimization and a faster website. For another it's Google Ads with real conversion tracking behind it, so the phone calls get counted and not guessed at. The rest of the digital noise, and there's a lot of it, I leave alone until there's a reason not to.

If you're comparing digital marketing companies against a full Baltimore marketing agency, that page explains how the whole system fits together. My focus is the digital marketing services themselves and what they cost. I help small businesses in Baltimore, MD solve marketing problems, so if that's you, tell me what's going on.

Beautiful won't bring in clients. The system behind it does.

02

The channels we run, and the ones we don't.

Open the one you're deciding on.

Search engine optimization

SEO is where I help your website rank on the first page of Google, and it's never just rankings. I combine Baltimore web design, copywriting, and conversion optimization so the customers who land on your website actually inquire. It's a bundled approach. If you don't have a website, I build it for you inside the plan, optimized from launch, and the deeper read is on the Baltimore SEO company page.

Google Ads

SEO is the long game and I find it necessary, but when you need results faster, paid search is the answer. Google Ads shows up when a customer types exactly what your business offers, and I build the campaigns around your locations so your budget reaches local buyers within days. Full pricing and process live on the Google Ads agency in Baltimore page.

Content

You've heard the phrase, content is king. That's partially true. The more content you have, the more reasons you give a customer to find you, learn about you, and buy from you, but it's the quality of the content that matters, not the quantity. The photography, the video, the writing. From blog content to the content on your service pages, I plan it around your business goals instead of a posting calendar, and for a small business that usually means fewer pieces of content, done better. Blog writing, photography, video, and short form content, working together with your website and your Google Ads instead of floating on their own. Small business owners don't need a content team; they need content that pulls its weight.

AI and automation

From automations to AI chatbots for small business, I plug systems into your operations that answer and pre-qualify leads while you're on a job. Once I understand how your business runs, the systems fit around it, not the other way around.

And the ones we don't

We're not a full service agency. I don't sell social media management, and I won't pretend it's where a local service business wins. We'll create the content for your social channels, because that content works everywhere, but nobody here is charging you to schedule posts. If social media management is genuinely what you need, I'll tell you that on the first call and point you to someone who does it well.

If you had a huge marketing team you could try all of them. Even then, that doesn't mean you should. Every channel you add is attention and content taken from the ones producing, because each one wants its own content and its own upkeep, and a small business only has so many hours. So the real marketing strategy question is never "what else could we do", it's "what two or three things do we do well enough to win".

You don't need 20 marketing channels. You need 2 or 3 that are right for your business, done well.

04

How much does a digital marketing agency cost?

In Baltimore, most digital marketing agencies charge somewhere between $1,000 and $5,000 a month and don't publish a number until you've sat through a sales call. Mine are on the page. Monthly plans run $800 for Starter, $1,500 for Growth, which is where most local businesses land, and $3,500 for Premium. The website build is included inside the plan, never billed as a separate project. Ad management starts at $500 a month per channel, Google or Meta, and steps up with the size of the account, and your ad budget goes straight to the platform with a $30 a day minimum.

Whatever rate you land on, all of this is included:

  • Google Business Profile management and optimization
  • A Google Business Profile post with every new page
  • Citation publishing across the directories that matter
  • AI search optimization (AEO and GEO) on every page
  • Conversion optimization that turns SEO traffic into calls
  • A custom built website on your brand that loads fast
  • Automatic replies to your Google reviews, handled for you
  • A custom built analytics dashboard you can open any time
  • A monthly video walkthrough of the work, in plain English
  • A direct line to me for strategy and operations help
Growth
$1,550 a month

Now you're into a real growth phase, month over month.

What it has to earn back

The plan is an investment, so the only question that matters is how many jobs it takes to cover it. Work it out with your own numbers.

2 jobs a month if a customer is worth $500
1 job a month if a customer is worth $1,500
1 job a month if a customer is worth $5,000

Break-even only, at the rate the slider is showing. Anything past that is margin, and a customer who comes back is worth more than the first job suggests.

If none of these numbers work for where the business is right now, tell me on a call. I'd rather put together something smaller that actually fits than lose the conversation over a number.

Ad budget is separate and goes straight to the platform, never through me.

Everything is month to month. I never charge a percentage of your ad spend. The fee steps up with the size of the account for one reason, which is that a bigger budget means more campaigns to build and more hours to run them. Plenty of agencies take a percentage instead, so their pay rises the day your budget rises. The full breakdown is on the marketing services and pricing page.

How do you know if a digital marketing agency is legit?

Willis Aybar, founder of the Baltimore digital marketing agency Another Monday, the person clients call directly about their own account
That's me. The person you call is the person doing the work.

Ask three things and you'll filter out most of the market. One, do they publish pricing? If the number only exists inside a sales call, the number moves. Two, who owns the accounts? Your website, your Google Business Profile, your ad account, all of it should be registered to you, so if we ever part ways you keep everything. That's how I set clients up from day one. Three, what does reporting look like? You should see the numbers themselves, calls, form fills, cost per lead, with the date window printed on them, not a slide that says "engagement is up".

I'll add a fourth that nobody asks: does the person selling you marketing run a business besides the agency? I'm Willis Aybar, I run Another Monday, and I've owned and operated my own businesses in Baltimore, spent my own money on my own mistakes, and every number on this site carries its window and its source. That's the standard I'd want as a buyer, so it's the one I publish to.

07

How we work.

1

Tell me what you need the most help with

The first call is a real strategy conversation, not a pitch. I ask questions to learn your business and uncover the problems you're actually trying to solve, because I've had owners arrive convinced they needed social media when a text campaign was the fix, and the reverse. You leave with a marketing strategy you could run without me.

2

Onboard and pre-launch

On the second call I welcome you in, hand you a roadmap, set expectations, and gather what's needed to move, access, assets, and the business details that make targeting work. By then we both know exactly what happens next, so we get to work.

3

Reporting and suggestions

You want to know what your money is doing. I send reporting on a cadence that keeps you informed, and I flag suggestions beyond my scope when I see something worth fixing, because I've had the late nights and early mornings myself and I know what it feels like to wonder if the marketing is working.

08

We're like you.

I own and operate small businesses in Baltimore, I stress over the little things, and I learned marketing the hard way so you don't have to. Before Another Monday I built Studio 87, an event venue in Dundalk on a quiet street with no foot traffic, and grew it to 380+ bookings and 250+ five-star reviews across platforms. That business survived on search engine optimization, because I figured out how to get found, and that's the same work I do for owners who care about their growth like I cared about mine. The longer version of that story is on the local marketing expert page.

When you own a business, every day feels like Monday.

09

Baltimore and the markets around it.

Another Monday is based in Baltimore, Maryland and serves local businesses across the metro area: Dundalk, where I ran my own venue, Towson, Glen Burnie, Ellicott City, and out through the DMV. Most of the work happens remotely, so clients outside Maryland work with me the same way, and yes, we work in English or Spanish.

Is it worth hiring a digital marketing agency?

For most small businesses, yes, once you price your own hours honestly. Learning digital marketing on a live budget is expensive, and the mistakes compound quietly: a website that loads slow, ads matching the wrong searches, tracking that counts nothing. An agency working in these accounts every day gets you past those mistakes faster than you'd get past them alone.

It's not worth it when the business can't take more work. If you're booked out three months and your phone already rings, don't pay anyone for lead generation, spend it on capacity. And it's not worth hiring anyone, me included, whose plan you can't understand in plain English by the end of the first call.

11

Questions before you hire a digital marketing agency.

The ones that come up on almost every first call.

How much does a digital marketing agency cost?

Monthly plans at Another Monday run $800, $1,500, or $3,500, with the website build included, and ad management starts at $500 a month per channel and steps up with the size of the account, with your ad budget paid straight to the platform. Most agencies in the Baltimore market charge $1,000 to $5,000 a month and publish nothing, so ask for the number before the pitch.

Which agency is best for digital marketing?

The best digital marketing agency for a local business is the one that limits your spend to channels that produce, shows you the numbers with dates on them, and leaves you owning your own accounts. Titles and awards don't move your phone. Ask how they'd choose your first two channels and listen for whether the answer is about your business or their services.

How do I know if my digital marketing agency is legit?

A legitimate agency publishes its pricing, registers every account in your name, and reports real counts, calls, form fills, and cost per lead, with the date window shown. If you can't log into your own ad account today, that's the conversation to have this week.

Is it worth it to hire a digital marketing agency?

Hiring a digital marketing agency is worth it when you have capacity for more work and your own time is worth more than the fee. It's not worth it when you're already booked solid, or when the agency can't explain its plan in plain English.

How long until digital marketing shows results?

Google Ads can produce calls within days of launch. SEO compounds slower, with the first meaningful movement typically inside 90 days and the real payoff after that, which is why I usually run both: ads carry the front while search equity builds underneath.

What's included in a monthly plan?

Every plan includes the website itself, built and maintained inside it, plus the channel work we agree on: search engine optimization, content, ads management, or AI systems. Reporting comes on a set cadence, and you're never billed separately for the build.

Do I have to sign a long contract?

You don't have to sign a long contract to work with Another Monday. Everything runs month to month, and the work is designed to keep earning its place every month instead of being locked into a year you can't get out of.

Do you do social media marketing?

We create content for your social channels, but we don't sell social media management or posting schedules. For most local service businesses in Baltimore, search is where buyers are, so that's where the investment goes first.

What happens if we stop working together?

You keep everything. The website, the Google Business Profile, the ad account, and the content are all registered to you from day one, so ending the engagement never means starting over.

What reporting do I get?

You get the actual numbers on a regular cadence: calls, form submissions, cost per lead, and search performance, each with its date window. If something underperforms, the report says so and what changes next.
